The Nairobi Expressway will be open to the public for the first time on Saturday, May 14.
President Uhuru Kenyatta revealed this on Sunday, May 8, after handing medals to winners of the Uhuru Classic Nairobi City Marathon.
The President also mentioned that the Jubilee government’s flagship project will be available to motorists, who will be asked to provide feedback on the entire tolling process.
The opening, according to the Head of State, will assist his government in identifying the project’s flaws.
“The route (Nairobi Expressway) will be open to the public starting this Saturday.
Although not officially, but experimentally, “Uhuru declared.
