On Friday, the United Democratic Alliance’s National Elections Board ordered that nominations be repeated in some sections of the Kasarani and Kabete constituencies.
Party members in Mwiki Primary School, Mwiki Assistant Chief Camp, and St. Augustine Catholic Church in Mwiki Ward would be subjected to a rerun of the practice, according to UDA NEB chair Anthony Mwaura.
Voters enrolled at Kanyariri Secondary School in Gitaru Ward and St. Mary’s Kaimba in Nyadhuna Ward of Kabete Constituency would be able to vote again, according to him.
Due to logistical issues, the party primaries in Mt Elgon, Malava, Likuyani, and Lugari have been postponed until Saturday, April 16.

On Tuesday, nominations will be held in the Narok Constituency and Nakuru West.
On April 19, members of the Nandi County party will select their UDA parliamentary candidates.

Mwaura challenged the members of the party to keep the peace and promised that the activity would be fair.
He also warned hopefuls against inciting violence, stating that anyone who do so will be disqualified from the contest and either suspended or removed from the party.
