Art courses are among flooded courses in Kenya unlike in well-developed countries where the demand is high. Being a third world country, people do not see the need for investing in art as they do in economic issues, which is understandable.
Another factor is it demands a high level of creativity therefore lack of it will render you jobless upon completion of studies. Unless you are planning to become self-employed, think carefully before pursuing this course.

2.Hospitality
According to a report by KUCCPS, the hospitality course is valueless due to its less demand in the job market. The field is flooded with jobless people.

The reason why criminal justice is not marketable is that Kenya does not invest much in employing a professional in this field.

This is one of the most flooded courses because people enroll for it with the mentality that it is easy to study and find a job. The sad news is the Kenyan media companies have opted for comedians as their employees rather than the professionals. This is because their main aim is to give their viewers and listeners what they want, to increase their outreach. To get a job therefore in this field, one has to be very aggressive and very creative. Have a self-employment mentality just in case things do not work out, otherwise, you will join the many professionals in this field who are jobless.

Every course has its value, question is, can it get you a job in Kenya? Before you enroll for one, ask for career advice that you do not end up wasting away years studying a course of no importance to your career-life. Know your strengths because in some cases, no matter how flooded a course might be, some still manage to do well because of their ability to offer something unique from the rest of the professionals.
