According to a Radio Africa Group poll, the DP has maintained its lead in areas that overwhelmingly supported him and President Uhuru Kenyatta in the 2017 and 2013 elections.
The DP is also gaining traction in Western Kenya, where ODM leader Raila Odinga has won three general elections in a row.
