According to the most recent and most extensive Radio Africa Group poll, UDA presidential candidate William Ruto and Azimio leader Raila Odinga are statistically tied.
According to the poll, the Deputy President is in the lead with 45% of the vote. As the fight for the presidency tightens, Raila comes in second with 44% of the vote.
This means that neither of the two front-runners for president would prevail on August 9 if elections were held today.
The number of undecided Kenyans in the latest poll shot up to 9 per cent from 3 registered in June.
The survey has a 95 percent confidence level and a +/-1.8% margin of error.
The entire survey cost was covered by Radio Africa Group and was carried out between July 20 and July 27.
The surveys drew a total of 3000 participants, who were evenly distributed throughout the 47 counties.
