On Sunday, state-run Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) reported that a Precision Air aircraft had crashed into Lake Victoria while trying to land at an airstrip in Bukoba.
TBC reported 15 rescued, but the total number of persons on board and whether or not anyone perished was not known.
