Since 1949, SOS Children’s Villages has worked to meet the needs of children and protect their interests and rights as an independent, non-governmental international development organization.
SoS is looking for Data Collectors to help in collecting information on children’s vulnerability in the areas where SOS Children’s Village operates in Nairobi. Data collection and entry with the necessary data collection tools will be part of your responsibilities. Families and stakeholders working with SOS Children’s Village Nairobi will be among the data collectors’ sources. You’ll use our online modeling software to enter the information you’ve gathered. You should be able to upload data quickly and efficiently using computers and mobile devices. The ideal candidate will have prior experience collecting household data and, ideally, a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, social sciences, data and records or any related courses.
Data Collector Responsibilities
Collect data from external and internal sources
Input collected data into online platform
Ensure all data is organised and accurate

Data Collector Requirements
Data collection or database management experience
Organisation and research skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Degree in Information Technology, social sciences, data and records or any related courses
Data collectors will be engaged to collect data for 4 days, 1 day will be a mandatory training for the data
collectors and 3 (Three) days for data collection. All gender will be considered
