Most county Assemblies have conducted polls for the selection of The County Assembly Speakers contested countrywide. With majority of the counties having sworn in the winners, it is clear that a large number of former legislators were eying the posts for a come back.
It is important to note that the post of Speaker, comes with lucrative perks, including KSh. 80,000 house allowance on top of the above KSh. 500,000 monthly salary.
