The Teachers Service Commission has eased the transfer application process.Applications for transfer from the employees(teachers) will be done online via the TSC transfer portal unlike in the past where forms were manually taken to commission’s offices.
Online Transfer Application Procedure
Follow this steps to successfully apply for a transfer;
1.On a working browser like chrome, visit the TSC transfer application portal via the link http://hrmis.tsc.go.ke/tm-app/apply_transfer.
2.In the new pop up window ,enter your TSC number,ID number then personal mobile phone number.Upon keying the details a notification message carrying a 6-digit security code will be sent to your phone.Before clicking the ‘‘login ” icon you will be prompted to key in the code after which the login will be successful.
3.After your login the system automatically identifies whether you are a primary or post primary teacher.
4.On the current window click on ”submit a request for transfer’‘ to proceed with the application
Appropriately enter the below-listed details.
Period of stay at current station(school).
Period of stay in the same sub county.
Reason for applying transfer.
When the transfer should be effected.
County.
Sub county
School .
Personal email address
- Upon filling the details above tick on the small box next to the TSC declaration .
- Confirm all the details are filled,then click ok.
- The portal will generate a window displaying your current school and requested county.
- In case the transfer is on insecurity or medical grounds,click on ”file attachments” tab to attach supporting documents.
- Click on browse to select the documents to attach from your device.
- After attaching all the documents,click ok.
- Click on the submit button after confirming the documents attached.
- Once your application is delivered successfully the status changes to ”pending”. Application status will be changing from time to time.
- Click on logout to exit as the other bits are done by the principal/headteacher of your current station.
