On Tuesday, the government published a price list for using the Nairobi Expressway once it is completed.
Each driver on the Nairobi Expressway will be charged a fee ranging from Sh310 to Sh100 to use the new road, according to the Gazette notice. The cost will be calculated based on the distance traveled.
Here’s the breakdown.
Sh 310 from Mlolongo to James Gichuru
Sh 260 from JKIA to Westlands and James Gichuru
Sh 160 from southern Bypass to Westlands and museum hill
Sh 260 from SGR to Westlands and James Gichuru
Sh 100 from Eastern Bypass to JKIA and Southern Bypass
Sh 160 From James Gichuru to Haile Selassie
Sh 100 from Westlands to Haile Selassie.
The expressway will not be open to certain vehicles, according to the gazette notice.
Two-wheeled motor vehicles were barred from using the expressway.
