The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has summoned former Jubilee party Vice Chairman David Murathe and veteran politician Cyrus Jirongo.
Speaking to the media e on Thursday, November 3, a source at the EACC confirmed that Murathe and Jirongo were asked to appear before the commission to record statements.
However, the insider did not disclose further information on why the two are being questioned.
“Yes I can confirm the summons. The EACC will issue a statement on the same in the course of the day,” the official stated.
Murathe and Jirongo are expected to appear at the EACC headquarters at the Integrity Centre, Nairobi.
