Bridging courses give students a second chance to retake their Form Four KCSE examinations if they received poor grades in those subjects, with the goal of meeting entry requirements for higher learning institutions or professional bodies.
Bridging a KNEC subject takes 3-6 months (depending on the grade) and can only be done after the final secondary level examinations have been completed.
Students can sit for the Business Calculations paper (KNEC), which is equivalent to Mathematics Paper I and II, two years after completing the KCSE. This exam is given three times per year.
Internal exams are also offered where applicable.
The above subjects are examined by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) and Bridge College (BCEB).
