According to the Star, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his vice president William Ruto might receive retirement benefits and farewell gifts worth many millions of shillings. The President of Kenya would get a one-time bonus of 34.6 million Kenyan shillings in addition to a lifetime pension of 1.2 million Kenyan shillings each month. If this were to occur, the President would rise to the status of one of Kenya’s richest men.
The departing president will also receive a housing allowance of 300,000 shillings and a monthly amusement allowance of 200,000 shillings. Additionally, this money will be utilized to upgrade the community’s services, including installing new water and sewer lines and phone lines.
Every three years, Uhuru will receive a brand-new car, and the President will choose the models of the other two four-wheel-drive cars. In his lifespan, Uhuru will be qualified for a total of four cars.
Additionally, there will be 24-hour security. He’ll have four drivers working for him in all. These benefits are part of the entire package of retirement things that the Presidential Retirement Benefits Act of 2003 offers its participants.
